All Purpose Rub

Great barbecue begins with great ingredients and this definitely includes the seasoning.

This All Purpose rub has all the elements you want in a rub. It's spicy, earthy and helps to enhance the flavor of the meat, without covering it up.

What you will need

  • 2 Tablespoons Kosher salt
  • 1 Tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon granulated onion
  • 1 Tablespoon paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon mustard powder
  • 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cumin

  • Method

1.In a medium sized bowl or shaker bottle, mix all ingredients and combine until well incorporated.

2.Store in a cool, dry place, with an airtight lid, outside of direct sunlight.

3.Dry rub can last for up to six months or more, however you will notice over time that some of the ingredients can begin to lose flavor.
