Custom Tongs from The Tongs Australia
These custom tongs from The Tongs Australia, is my favourite new product that I didn't know I always needed!
I was lucky enough to receive a pair of both short and long custom tongs and have been absolutely blown away by how awesome they are. Not only do I love the custom addition of my Instagram handle on the face of the tongs, but the flat billed "teeth" make it so easy to move around my BBQ, without damaging the bark that we all work so hard to achieve.
My biggest concern with before using the tongs was the strength of them. One of my worst pet peeves is the terrible feeling you get when you pull an aluminium tray off the smoker grills and you can feel it warping under the weight of the meat. I am terrified that I will waste all of that patience (not to mention expensive meat!) by dropping it on the ground. Luckily I didn't need to worry. The brass pins and slam pressed aluminium are super strong. I didn't feel any sag in the metal when picking and moving the meat and they clamped with a lot of strength, without damaging the bark at all.
